Maudie sterling silver jewellery is inspired by nature and crafted by hand.
Designer and creator Kirsty Nevinson draws much of her inspiration for Maudie from the Ocean and has a passion for upcycling and repurposing to eliminate waste. These principles can be seen in her sea glass and molten pebble range.
Sea glass is discarded glass, most often bottles that have been thrown into the ocean and over tens of years have been broken down, tumbled and smoothed by the currents and waves and washed up on beaches. Kirsty then encases the sea glass in a fine silver bezel and transforms it into sterling silver rings, earrings or pendants to be worn and loved for years to come.
The Molten silver pebble range is made by forging, filing, and polishing remnants of sterling silver from other designs creating beautiful shiny pebble studs, rings, pendants and earrings. This collection eliminates waste from other ranges by utilising every gram of sterling silver.
